EQUINOR-MODEC FPSO BACALHAU (2021 –2023)
In 2021, Equinor contracted Modec to supply one of the largest FPSO to be deployed in the Bacalhau field offshore Brazil. The FPSO will be the first application of the Modec’s “M350 Hull”, a next generation new build hull for FPSOs, full double hull design, which has been developed to accommodate larger topside and larger storage capacity than conventional VLCC tanker, with a longer design service life. The hull is built in BOMESC, China, Topside modules by Aibel Thailand and integration by Keppel Singapore.
Topsteel was awarded the full package of carbon steel, low temperature carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, fittings, flanges and o’lets for both Aibel (Topsides) and Modec (Hull).
SANTOS-BW OFFSHORE FPSO BAROSSA (2022-2023)
The Barossa gas field is located 300 kilometres offshore Darwin in northern Australia. Barossa will be developed via an FPSO with six subsea production wells, in-field facilities and a gas export pipeline tied into the Bayu-Undan to Darwin pipeline system that supplies gas to Darwin LNG. The Darwin LNG plant is located 6 kilometres from Darwin at Wickham Point and commenced production in 2006.
The Topside modules are designed and fabricated in Dyna-Mac Singapore and Topsteel supplied a significant tonnage of fittings, flanges and o’lets in 2022 to 2023.
PETROBRAS-SBM – FPSO MERO 4 (2023)
The fourth FPSO (Floating Production, Storage & Offloading vessel) to be deployed in the Mero pre-salt field in the Santos basin.
Topsteel supplied Super Duplex A182 F53 Hub Blinds & Clamp Sets for the Stainer Package in 2023.
EXXONMOBIL-SBM FPSO LIZA DESTINY (2017-2019)
The Liza Destiny FPSO is a converted VLCC named Tina. The conversion took place in Keppel Singapore where crews built and added 14 new processing units. The FPSO is designed to produce up to 120,000 b/d of oil with storage capacity of up to 1.6 million bbl. This is the first FPSO to be deployed in the Liza field, offshore Guyana.
Topsteel delivered more than 1,000 MT of pipes, fittings, flanges & o’lets to both Keppel & Dyna-Mac for this conversion job.
PETRONAS RAPID PROJECT (2014-2016)
The Refinery And Petrochemcial Integrated Development (RAPID) project is part of the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) in Malaysia. It was developed by a JV of Petronas & Aramco.
Topsteel supplied fittings, flanges & o’lets in carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex material grades to the various stakeholders involved in this mega project from 2014-2016.
EXXONMOBIL-SBM FPSO LIZA UNITY (2019-2021)
The Liza Unity FPSO is designed to produce 220,000 b/d of oil with associated gas treatment capacity of 400 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of 250,000 barrels per day. The FPSO will be spread moored in water depth of about 1,600 meters and will be able to store around 2 million barrels of crude oil. There are total of 19 topsides modules.
This is the first FPSO based on SBM Offshore’s Fast4Ward® design, benefitting from standardization of the project`s execution plan and using a fully completed and commissioned MPF hull, which sets the benchmark for future FPSO projects.
Similar to Liza Destiny, Topsteel supplied more than 1,000 MT of pipes, fittings, flanges & o’lets to both Keppel and Dyna-Mac for this newbuild.
EXXONMOBIL-SBM FPSO LIZA PROSPERITY (2020-2022)
The FPSO Prosperity utilize a design that largely replicates the design of the Liza Unity FPSO. FPSO Prosperity is designed to produce 220,000 b/d of oil with associated gas treatment capacity of 400 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of 250,000 barrels per day. The FPSO will be spread moored in water depth of about 1,900 meters and will be able to store around 2 million barrels of crude oil.
This is the third Liza FPSO that Topsteel continued to supply fittings, flanges & o’lets to Dyna-Mac (Topside Modules) and Keppel (Hull).
